ICDL Americas sponsored the first Inter-University Forum on ‘Virtual Education’, at the invitation of Santa María La Antigua Catholic University. Organised by the Board of Rectors in Panama, where Jessica Rodriguez, Regional Operations Coordinator of ICDL Americas delivered a presentation on digital skills, some our research results and the ICDL programme.

Interuniversity Forum

Representatives of several of the main local Universities and private sector participated on this first forum and ICDL Americas had the oportunity to discussed the programme with the director of the technology innovation office in Panama, which is working on ICT training for around 8,000 of their staff. They also met the director of the Technological University in Panama and other private universities which were interested on ICDL programme.
